Production Coordinator

This position will report to the Production Manager. This individual is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the workflow on the
production floor which includes the safety and productivity of all production employees and leads. The Production Coordinator is accountable for ensuring that production projects are completed with quality and in allotted time for the project.

  • Works with the Production Manager to manage employee’s daily activities to ensure production efficiencies

This position will report to the Client Services Manager. You will play an instrumental role as the liaison between the customer, business development, technology solutions, and all production areas. You will handle projects from receipt of order through final shipment, and will assist in troubleshooting and monitoring job progress through final invoice while meeting the customer’s and company’s expectations. You are responsible for understanding the customer’s needs and expectations, and for advocating for the successful completion of the project. Bindery Operator

Reports to Director of Manufacturing.

You are responsible for working with a variety of machines and ensuring that they are in good working condition and production quality control. Machines include working with stamping, stitching, trimming, pressing and binding machines. The operator is responsible for equipment operation and repair with a focus on coordination and collaboration across multiple departments and meeting production deadlines.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Machine operation: Set up, run, troubleshoot and maintain all bindery equipment so they can run at optimal speeds for each product we produce. Review daily output of team members and work to continually improve efficiency.
  • Work with team members to direct resources as needed to accomplish the daily schedule. Make on the fly decisions when needed to solve unforeseen problems or machine failures to keep production flowing.
  • Check machines before and after each project for possible defects and cleaned prior to being used on new projects.
  • Regularly scheduled maintenance checks on all equipment.
  • Operators spend much of their day standing. The role requires lifting of some heavy weights, bending, stooping and performing repetitive tasks. The work environment is loud and an operator might be required to wear protective gear.

Shipping/Receiving Assistant

Reports to Production Manager.

This person is responsible for performing duties to support shipping and receiving, deliveries, coordinating stock, documenting warehouse transactions, maintaining records, and management of production inventory. This person will also be available to assist the production team on production jobs.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Handling shipping/receiving of incoming/outgoing materials
  • Assists couriers and drivers with unloading and loading materials
  • Accountable for of production inventory management, including verifying POs, inventory, and completing necessary paperwork
  • Receiving incoming items into the 3PL inventory system and putting away items in appropriate locations
  • Ensuring outgoing shipments are properly wrapped, labeled, and BOL or paperwork are supplied
  • Ensuring paperwork has been signed when shipments are picked up by a courier and drivers
  • Ensuring shipping/receiving areas are maintained in a safe, clean and orderly environment
  • Organizing and staging incoming materials whether for a job, fulfillment, or inventory
  • Assists in answering questions regarding procedures and resolves discrepancies regarding receipts, deliveries, and repairs
  • Responsible for counting of physical production inventory on a monthly basis or as instructed

Reports to Fulfillment Manager.

Position is an entry level role on the fulfillment team. This person will be responsible for fulfilling customer pull ticket orders and internal orders as directed from the Fulfillment Supervisor/Lead. Duties include gathering the appropriate item(s) and preparing the item(s) for shipping. The fulfillment associate will follow a process to ensure order accuracy, proper packaging and timely delivery to our customers.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Accountable picking and pulling orders per pull ticket specifications
  • Handles pick pack-orders efficiently to ensure smooth workflow
  • Communicates with Fulfillment Lead/Supervisor on any production issues that arise

Working in prepress, you will take customer supplied files and make any neccesary changes and proofs before preparing them for press. You will work with customer service representatives to ensure correct ticket information.
